oh I’m interested in this too! Fi’s family isnt Catholic and we are having a full mass too.

Make sure to include readings and the gospel (at least the verse numbers). I would also include general responses so that people can participate if they choose to.

@GreenEyedMoon:   Oh no!  They were working last time I checked, maybe a few months ago.  Sorry, they’re not working for me, either.  🙁  There might be something else on the DIY board, though.

My nephew’s wedding was a few weeks ago, and I’m looking at their program right now.

On the outside was their monogram, centered, and below it is the date, time, name and address of the church.

Its just one folded heavyweight paper, with print on all sides including the back.

Inside on the left is The Wedding Party

Parents of Bride & Groom

Bridal party split into BM’s and Groomsmen

Introductory Rites

Mothers Recessional……. Ave Maria

Procession of the Bridesmaid or Best Man….Canon in D

Procession of Bride…..Wedding Chorus

Opening Prayer

Liturgy of the Word

Old Testament Reading (and the reader’s name) and verse number

Responsorial Psalm (the Lord is Kind and Merciful

New Testament Reading (and reader’s name) and verse number

Gospel Acclamation

Rite of Marriage

Exchange of Wedding Vows

Blessing and exchange of Rings

Lighting of the Unity Candle

Prayer of the Faithful and Response (and reader’s name)

Liturgy of the Eucharist

Presentaion of the Gifts and names of Godmothers

Preparation of the Gifts

Eucharistic Prayer

The Lord’s Prayer

Sign of Peace

Concluding Rite

On the back is  To Our Parents

To our Bridal Party

To our Guests  (all were paragraphs thanking everyone)

At the very bottom was a dedication of the Mass to all the deceased Grandparents

The priest spoke prior to Communion about anyone wishing to come up but did not want to receive, they could still honor the couple by going up for a blessing.

I don’t think they’re necessary. I found this one I put in my glove compartment and never even looked at it during the wedding.

They’re not working for me either. I really need to do a good program, as well. Fiance isn’t Catholic, so all of his family will be lost without a program to follow for the responses. At least we’re not doing communion, so that will cut down on some confusion as to who can and who can’t receive it.

Something to the effect of “Our non-Catholic guests may come forward for a special blessing during Communion.  This is signified to the priest or eucharist minister by crossing your arms over your chest.”
