This is Yang, my parking lot cat. I found her a year ago at 3 months old, and she was very fleabitten and wormy. After a lot of TLC, she has grown to be a tiny but healthy cat. I never had a cat before and always had dogs, but I fell in love with her. I feel like a lot of people don’t know how awesome cats are!

We have Kona and Fennec. Kona is a siamese with some ragdoll in her, and Fennec is just a snuggly ball of fluff 🙂 We just adopted Fennec on Friday so we’ve only had him for a week and he’s been adorable.

adreamdeferred :  Here’s my baby (and a gratuitious shot of my ring) ^.^ She’s a ragdoll, will be 14yrs old this year! I’ve had her since she was a kitten.

We walked into the city shelter and adopted the two oldest cats they had. Both were hidden away in the medical ward, ensuring no adopters would ever see them. They were up on the chopping block.

The white one was 16 and she was microchipped. The shelter tried contacting the owner, but there was no response. I tracked down the POS owner on FB and sent a message to her—“Your 16 year old cat is at the city shelter about to be put down.” POS owner replies to me, claiming to be confused as to why her name, address, and phone number are on the microchip because she doesn’t own a cat.  Yeah right.

The black cat was listed as being 15 years old, but upon examination by our vet, she is more like 18.

These two are fantastic. Please consider adopting senior pets.

Ouiser (a.k.a. White Wonder, Snowmass, Ouise-Patrol, The Adorable Snow-cat)

Squirmy (a.k.a. Squirmle, Black Magic, Bubblin’ Crude, Texas Tea)

I had to euthanize my sweet stray that I took in after 2.5 years with her. She developed bone cancer.

I was really missing her so I applied with a shelter to be a foster mom. 2 of them are already gone now back to the shelter for adoption.

Fostering is a lot of fun but also requires some work. I recommend it if you’re able!

This is Audrey. She is 6 and she likes to touch my arm with her paw gently when she’s hungry. I love her to death.

This is Toby! He’ll be 2 this summer. A friend’s mom feeds stray cats in our neighborhood and he was way more social than his littermates so they thought he should come inside. No one else could take him, and anyone who knows me knows that you can’t send me pictures of a kitten in the snow and expect me not to go get him. A year and a half later, here we are!

How is it that every one of these cats is the most beautiful cat that I have ever seen.

Some of you bees are not owners, just staff. You give pu**y whipped a whole new meanning. But thats why we love them.

Love all of your furbabies! I myself have 3 cats, all of them adopted/rescued in Mexico.

Meet Mila my biggest and oldest one. She is the fluffiest cat I’ve ever met and I love her to pieces. She has been through a lot. They found her in the air system of the Red Cross and she almost died when they wanted to neuter her. When I got her she soon after suffered from mastitis and then shortly after she was off treatment she had giardiasis. She made her furmum suffer too. Now she’s all fine and she is the boss in the house haha She also weighs 11.7 lbs.

Then there is Lilou. She is the smallest one in size, but the loudest and most needy one. She’s our little princess. We adopted her from a random person on the internet.

And last but not least, theres Mikesch (named after a talking cat from a childrens book by the chzech author Josef Lada). He has just the same babyface that he had as a kitten and still behaves like a kitten too. He looooooves to cuddle and to give us kisses. (and he loves to eat bread and drink from our coffee)
