i just dont think it is fair to imply that Grandma wouldnt want to know, and being devastated would be worse than living a lie? Since when does age or length of marriage imply that we can disregard our vows? Not telling because ‘you wouldnt want to know’ takes away Grandmas RIGHT to choose what she wants to do. If i found out my husband of 63 years was cheating on me, yes I would be devastated, but I would then be finding out he wasnt who I thought he was anyways! I dont know, I stand firmly saying Grandma should know and have the right to choose what she wants to do in her marriage. I would be furious with my familly members if I found out my Fiance was cheating on me and they kept it in the dark.
