No advice for how to handle this awful situation as I expect it’ll be dragged out getting your money back, if you ever do. But, I did want to suggest Whole Foods if there’s one near you for replacement florals! They are gorgeous and very affordable. Best of luck bee! Update us as things progress.

Do you have a Kroger with a floral department? A couple years ago, my BIL’s wedding flowers got accidentally placed in a commercial freezer by my Father-In-Law (he thought it was a cooler) and two hours before the ceremony it was realized and they of course were ruined. We ran to the closest Kroger and they made the bride’s bouquet, 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, and a handful of boutonnieres very quickly and affordably. The bride actually liked the flowers better than the florist’s!

I can SO RELATE to this. I also used Southern Blooms Co and ordered on January 2, and my wedding is next week. I figured I ordered in time to get the bouquets for my bridal shower on April 7 based on their estimated processing time of 8-12 weeks. I also ordered some of the mason jar bouquets so I wanted those to decorate for my shower to “preview the colors and bouquets”.

When I realized how behind they were I reached out to them a couple weeks before my shower and asked if I could get the date changed so I would get them in time for my shower. They were a bit behind on getting back to people then too, but not nearly as bad as it is now.

I referenced that according to the processing time when I ordered I should be getting them soon. They did also make me a few empty promises and said they were working on them and then at crunch time I reached out again because my shower was a few days away and I didn’t have them yet. They also said they would be overnighting my bouquets.

I did receive them the following day.

I will admit it was SUPER STRESSFUL and it would be even more stressful if it was right before my wedding like it would have been for me too. But, I will also admit they turned out beautiful and perfect and I can’t imagine any other bouquet when I walk down the aisle next week. 

I think they grew way too quickly and word spread about their beautiful bouquets much too quickly for them to keep up. I know they’ve been expanding and growing and have moved out of a bunch of spaces that they outgrew and are trying to hire more people, but they’re still way behind. I feel bad because they really are trying their best but they really are in way over their heads at this point.

But, like I said, the bouquets really were worth it for me.
