Hi, I have been using the CBFM for 4 cycles. Ever since the first cycle, I have got my lows, highs, and peaks like clockwork. This month things are different… Today is my 18th day of HIGH readings! It’s CD 27. I usually have a 35 day cycle.
Last weekend I had an instance of red spotting …it was more than spotting, bright red blood, and then it stopped. I was also getting EWCM at this time. It hasn’t happened since.
I don’t know what’s happening regarding the monitor? I even googled it and nothing comes up! Has no one ever had this many high days before? What could be happening?

@a_chrissy32: I don’t know if this will be of any help or not, but I had a month where the monitor gave me longer than normal “Low” days, like well into the frame of time that I should have been “High.” I was scouring the internet to figure out what was going wrong, if my monitor was broken…At the time, I had a sore shoulder muscle and I had been taking Excedrin. I learned that NSAIDS can delay ovulation. I stopped taking them (took Tylenol instead) and I got a peak on the monitor shortly thereafter.
Are you on any medications that could be delaying O? Have you traveled at all (which can delay O)?
And there are also bees that never got a peak, but most defiitely ovulated, as they ended up pregnant! Check out MissBonnieBlue:)

@jholler25: Thanks for the shout out!
@a_chrissy32: The first month we used the CBFM it was perfect. Like, textbook. I was temping and I had the low, the high, and then the peak monitor reading. We didn’t end up pregnant despite our efforts to time it perfectly and then have it all ‘look’ right. Onto the next month, I decided not to temp and just use the CBFM. Well, I had my lows, went to my highs, and then waited for the peak. Had EWCM, everything, still no peak. After Thanksgiving (where I was a total b**** to my family and that is so not my personality at all), I received my 14th day of highs. I was like, forget this, and I tested with a cheap wondflo pregnancy test. Well, there was a hint of a line and I thought the strip was defective. I ended up testing with a FRER and before I put the cap on it, there was the 2nd line. Then, I used a digital and that came up pregnant. To say I was suprised was an understatement. Hubby was only in town one weekend and we had two tries. I don’t know if I would have realized we were pregnant or if I ovuluated if I had been temping. Who knows why it didn’t work, but here we are 10 weeks 3 days.
