Sorry jjmomma. πŸ™ have you seen the Dr? Maybe get a blood test to rule out pregnancy?

Aw, I hope you get answers too! I watch your posts on the Bee, because I like the things you say. I really hope you end up getting a BFP; but if not, I hope you hurry and get AF so you can try again!! Best wishes!!!!

Aww…sorry you feel that way. There are lots of great bees here, but sometimes my posts don’t get a lot of reaction either. I don’t think it’s you, I think a lot of it is time of day.

Ive also found it best to create your own thread rather than joining n on the charting thread, cause I think they’re so busy, comments get missed.

My GP wouldnt do much for me either, so I cried in her office and asked for a referral to an OB. He’s been very proactive with me, and listenEd to my concerns.

Your OB might put you on proverb to induce AF, or he just might ask you to wait. 42 days isn’t *that* long in the irregular cycle world, unfortunately

@jjmomma:  I’ve been there too hun, and it stinks! πŸ™ You say you chart so do you know if you’ve ovulated? Do you temp? That’s the only way to really confirm O. Figures, everything is normal until we TTC. lol Hope you get some answers soon. Limbo land is for the birds!

@AutumnMrs:  Soy in your prenatals caused you to have irregular periods? Interesting…how did they determine this? I would think it’s such a negligible amount that it wouldn’t actually affect anything, but that’s interesting.

@jjmomma:  Sorry this cycle is so frustrating! I don’t have any advice on the issue, but I do remember your last topic not getting much attention, and then you commented on it. I have to say that the boards in general and the TTC/pregnancy boards more specifically seem to be much deader on weekends, and you posted both this and the last post on a weekend. Maybe next time try on a weekday and see what kind of response you get–I get various responses based on when I post, for sure.

Ugh that totally stinks. I’d get a blood test to rule out pregnancy and if negative request provera to jump start your period.

@jjmomma:  do you chart with temps? Can you post them for us so we can have a look? And do you use OPKs?

As someone with irregular cycles, I totally sympathise with limbo land!!! I’ve just emerged from limbo (touch wood!!) after picking up a LH surge early last week that didn’t end in ovulation, then 5 days of +OPKs this week while my body decided whether it was going to O. Luckily I’ve been temping, or I would have assumed I’d Oed last week, and be thinking I was at the end of the TWW… whereas now I know that I’ve JUST entered it. If you temp though, and they’ve been high for 2 weeks, then I’m not sure – maybe your BFP just hasn’t turned up yet πŸ™‚

In terms of ‘being ignored’ – I know what you mean, I used to feel the same way at times. I found that committing to a particular board or two, and really being interested (and showing it!) in everyone else’s progress meant that when I needed it, people would comment and support. But also, as @Jess1483:  said, weekends are VERY quiet around here!!

I feel you, jjmomma! I’m currently at Day 39, with 0.00001% chance of being pregnant (the last times we BDed we used protection) and yet, no AF. My mother passed away a couple of days after I got my positive OPK and now I’m wondering whether the stress and trauma around that means that I didn’t O at all. Hoping for AF to visit both you and I sometime soon! I swear, I said I was going to be chill about this and not chart, but no man’s land sucks major balls.

@skipper2010:  I know weird right?  When I talked to my ob we went over any little thing that changed in correlation with my stopped periods, and the prenatals were the only change.  She said soy can have that effect, any obviously sensitivity varies person to person.  I talked to my mom about it and she started eating tofu in her salads at lunch when she started menopause bc her doc recommended it.  Within a week her hair was falling out and she developed (benign) tumors in her breasts…all from the soy.  I think maybe we’re just super sensitive to it or something.  Within 4 days of me stopping the prenatals I got my period.  Called my ob back and she said all signs point to the soy but we won’t know for sure until I go through more cycles to see if it stays normal from here on out.
