WTF! Report them to the BBB and the bridal expo ASAP. I’d be livid!

SabrinaReyesThompson :  Disgraceful! At least you managed to get out of it, I wonder how’s many others have been ensnared into their scam and out of potentially thousands of dollars!

I’m so sorry this happened to you. The minute you have to pay for a “free” thing, that’s all the red flag you need to walk away. I’m glad you’re sharing this so others will be able to stop this before it gets this far into the scam.

As a photographer I can say this is the oldest scam on the books and how many places work, a ‘free’ shoot is NEVER free, you’re better off paying for a shoot than paying for ‘images’ afterward and usually the companies that offer free shoots are shameless and heavy handed bullies.

Lots of young girls with dreams of being a model get scammed like this, they are told an agency is interested but they have to buy a portfolio first, there is no agency and they just end up $1000 down for sub par useless images that most legitimate ‘model’ photographers would simply do for time for prints.
