I can’t believe I forgot two:
Robert Griffin III (was mentioned on ESPN a lot two years ago, tore his ACL last year and is thankfully back starting for Baylor), was in my first English class, second half of the semester was my “proof reading partner”. By all accounts a nice guy (signed 30? footballs for a local couples’ son’s first birthday for free), just a terrible proof-reader.
Brittney Griner (6’8″ now sophmore, women’s basketball, known for punching a Tech player after she threw Brittney across the court and for record number of blocks per season), went to SF with the team for the first round of March Madness last year. Ended up sitting behind her on the plane, she has a major sweet tooth! (We were given snack packs for the flight and she got a lot of peoples’ brownies)

Haha we just ate dinner next to Rob Thomas last night and he wished my DH a happy birthday!

These stories and pics are great! I’m lovin’ all the celebrity sightings, and I’m so jealous!

Trent Reznor — twice (I’m a huge fan)
Bryan Adams (embarrassing, but I’ve been a fan since I was 5)
Eddie Money (embarrassing, but it’s a family thing)
Glen Phillips (the singer from Toad the Wet Sprocket) — I’ve loved him and his music since I was 12, seen them in concert four times, and met him at the most recent one (last week). I couldn’t stop giggling for an hour afterward.

She babysat me for like, an hour at a time while my mom played tennis. She belonged to my pool club, the Montclair Beach Club, in Montclair NJ. She had already filmed Mermaids and I think possibly The Addams Family (it was either right before or after) but I wasn’t allowed to see either of them until I was older. Her older sister Pia babysat us too. Basically my mom and my friend Sara’s mom would pay her to watch us in the baby pool while they played tennis, not like she’d come and watch us at our house or anything.

My Fiance has met pretty much any mainstream musician until a few years ago from working in radio.
Me? Not as many. I did meet Owen Wilson in Rome, saw Pope John Paul II 4 times within 10 feet over a 5 year span, met a LOT of hockey players when I worked for a pro team. I know a lot of christian and Catholic “celebrities.” I haven’t had many hollywood run in’s though… just owen, and he got overshadowed by the pope giving me a blessing a few hrs later 🙂
Our best man is a “local celebrity” though 🙂

That’s hilarious. I used to wait tables at a truck stop and we had some mentally instable regulars. One of those regulars once said to me “Tell me, have you ever kissed Mr. Richard Simmons?” When I said “what???”, he responded “What’s the matter? You’ve never heard the words ‘no’ ‘never’?” I will never forget that conversation and you could have just told him, “YES. Yes I have!”

In high school I met Andrew McMahon from Something Corporate after a concert. In college I met Mike and Coral from the Real World Back to New York when they came to my campus, and also all the members of Motion City Soundtrack.
When I worked at a museum in st. louis Miley Cyrus came in, but none of us knew who she was (it was almost 3 years ago) and about a year and a half ago Joey McIntyre (from New Kids on the Block) was there and I got to call him a cab. I was super proud of myself for “staying cool” :o)
Recently I met Jane Lynch though work, which was awesome! She’s super tall, and I only wish I had been as cool around her as I was with Joey! hehe

I met and got Vanilla Ice’s autograph at a restaurant. He personally drove a friend and I too his concert haha. I felt dirty just riding in his vehicle.
I also saw Vince Vaughn at the 2010 Olympics, he said ‘hi’ and wanted to talk but bodyguards pushed him out!
I got Patrick Roy’s (former Montreal Canadians goalie) autograph at a restaurant.
Met Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and got their autograph.
I was standing in line in front of Paul Brandt at a coffee shop. His wife hated the world and her life haha.
Not bad considering I live probably the furthest away from any possible cities where celebs would venture too!
