I love colored glass, both blue and green. If you think it is pretty, go for it! Sounds good to me, and it’ll be a nice twist.

I like it, but it’s a pretty casual look, Are you having a casual/rustic kind of wedding? If I were you, I would just do the jars and flowers, maybe the ribbon, but I would skip the crystals. I just think that it’s two different styles and might not mesh together. I love mason jars though.

I agree with KateMW, if you’re having a casual/rustic wedding the mason jars and flowers are perfect (ala Mrs. Cherry Pie’s wedding).   I would omit the crystal though.  I’m using the jars and some will be like you describe (flowers, ribbons, jars) and the others will have a floating candle with a submerged rose and rocks in the bottom.

I love the idea. It’s a great look where you can use inexpensive flowers and still get the feel you want. I’ve seen mason chairs with stock, little white daises, small lilies and spray roses and they were super cute and really inexpensive if you buy in bulk. That’s probably the easiest centerpiece to DIY and save money on. You can also always sell your jars afterwards to get some money back.
