I am having gold chivari chairs and ivory linens. I thought i would post a pic of the venue to you can see the vibe i am working with. Our colours are ivory, champagne/gold, and pink. Both centerpeice options will have a mirror below it.
I have purchased candleabras for the centerpeices, but i am not sure what to do with them.
Option#1: Faux flower pomanders
Options#2 Tall Pillar Candles (talller than the below pic) and scattered pink rose petals

I prefer pomanders I think they look fancier than candles. I would also be concernd about wax later on the reception.

I like the pomanders.
However, keep in mind that those candelabras are about the height of your guests faces so they will have something in the middle that will restrict the communication of the table. In other words your guests will have to talk around the centerpiece unless you elevate them. The candles might allow for better communication as they are less dense than the pomanders.

Def spray paint the candelabras gold. They will look amazing with the chairs

Candles for the reason mentioned above. The pomanders might obstruct vision across the table. The wax shouldn’t be a problem if you get dripless candles. You also said there would be a mirror underneath.
The ivory color of the candelabra is perfect the way it is.

Even though I can see the point of the other posters saying it could obstruct the view, I like the pomanders much better!!

What about alternating the two? Could you half the tables with the pomanders and the other half with the candles. It would give a little variety. If not I vote for the pomanders.

can you do half and half?

again I also love the pomanders but the height seems like it would be inconvenient

I personally like candles as I think it’s more romantic 😉

make sure your venue doesn’t have anything against candles first of all. and second I love the pomanders but as mentioned above your guests are not going to be able to talk to each other….
I think I would keep looking for other options

I would alternate the tables with candles and pomanders.
