I’m needing any repcetion and centerpiece ideas. My wedding will be next December (2010). My colors are dark brown and pale pink. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! I’d rather not use flowers as centerpieces. The pic is how I want my tables to look. I’m thinking the centerpieces should be pink- or another light color (white, or silver) otherwise I think the dark table linens will drown out the centerpiece. I’m also doing a white christmas tree with brown and pink ornaments to put in the corner so people can sit gifts under it.

You could do low, wide bowls filled with coffee beans with a few light pink colored candles of different heights in the center. That way you get your color AND a great aroma! (provided you like coffee)

Pinecones might be interesting too… (ignore the gifts)

Ashroehrs, you could use pink lighting as a decorate element so the brown doesn’t make the place look too dark and dull. Take a look at what this couple did (scroll down the page): http://niralimagazine.com/2007/06/thanksgiving-celebration/
You can use pink uplighting around the room. For the centerpieces, you can place round lighting discs (set to a soft pink) underneath a glass vase filled with water, an orchid stem, and pink floating candles.
I also love the coffee bean idea – makes me want to change my colors!
