Option 1 is more glamorous and formal.

Option 2 is more casual, DIY.

I guess it depends what feel you have for the rest of you wedding and decor. If you’re trying to elevate the feel then keep option 1. If you’re going more casual with a rustic feel then pick 2. Personally I like option 1 as they look more expensive and command the space more.

Option 2 looks cheap to me. I’d keep what you had planned.

Option 2 looks rinky dink and cheap.

I like option 2

What am I missing? Everyone else likes 1!

Option 1 looks like a bottle sprayed with spray paint and some bling mesh glued to it.

Option 2 is very elegant.  There are 6 long stem fresh roses graduated in height in a tall and wide vase.  That vase is huge…the same height of the chair.  The visual of all of the vases together will be gorgeous.  You can also through some submersable lights in the bottom to illumminate it if it will bedark

Lokie85 :  You’re not missing anything.  It’s just confusing because option 2 is first in the post.  Option 1 is actually the elegant vase.

missmarchmommy :  Is that milk paint? I tried a DIY centerpiece with that and it looked like a kid did it. Seriously, it looked like shit and I am gong for a less formal wedding. You could see the brush strokes and it looked dull.

Stick with the glass vase. Its typical, but atleast you won’t have DIY nightmares.

missmarchmommy :  I had the oposite opinion of most!  I liked the blind on option 2 but I would put real flowers in it. Babies breath or roses from costco perhaps? Option 1 is a known diy cheap option from the dollar tree.

Themes can be fun. Perhaps you and your Fiance can think of something and then use that to decide? We had a gatsby, 1920s thing going which our guests loved. Rustic, offbeat, and DIY are other ways to go too.
