I think I would like it best if it just had one color of flower on the inside and then maybe set the others outside just on the table next to it. It looks a wee bit busy the way you have it, but it’s still really pretty!

I agree, I think the one larger red flower in the bowl and then the orchids would look pretty scattered around it on the table. Then you also wouldn’t have the problem of the orchids sinking with the little green stem up, which was one of the first things I noticed, actually. That way you can see the orchids better, too. Unless you can shove the stem down into the rocks and then the red flower will float? Just a thought! It’ll look great either way, though!

I think the first one is too cluttered.  I prefer the second option.

I think the first may be too many, but the second with too few.  Maybe 3 orchids and 1 pink? Also, maybe do two floating candles?

I also think only one red in the bowl and then the others around it. I think it is to dense with both flowers.

I love the second look. I feel in this situation less is more:)

@glo27: I agree with this. It’s kind of a modern arrangement, which I think looks better with less fuss.

I agree with some of the previous comments – I several large hot pink flowers in the vase and orchids around it would look great 🙂 If you are definitely wanting both flowers in the vase, then fewer orchids looks more effective

The first one looks too crowded.
