Can you tell us anything about your wedding? season? colors? theme?

Is the white satin drape meant to indicate a tablecloth? or is it used under the centerpiece on top of the tablecloth? If the latter, I would not use it as it gives a dated look to the centerpiece. You could use a dfferent base, or no base at all.

Sometimes the simplest things are the most elegant. Here are a number of pics of stemmed hurricane vases used with pillar candles and different fillers. You can use coffee beans, lentils, dried beans or peas, sand, marbles, gel etc

You could do a submerged flower centerpiece also with a floating candle on the top. These aren’t too expensive as they generally involve only one stem per vase. You cna also submerge branches. These ones are meant to look like coral.

PM me if you want any more ideas  as I might not remember to check back to this post.

If budget is an issue (and it is for most of us), you could use colored stones and a pink candle, or clear stones and a pink candle.

Here is an option that is  a bit different. You have a candle inside the vase and tie a flower with a straight stem to the outside of the vase. The cut end of the flower sits in water in a shallow saucer. Although your vase is not a cylinder vase, I think it could work.

You could also do tissue pomanders with an LED light in the vase.

For something completely different, you could flip the vase upsde down over some flowers, or a large head of hydrangea, and place a candle on the top. ( a larger version of this)

You could also do a faux terrarium in the vase with a tiny plant, some moss , succulents bark etc.
