I am not a fan of floral centerpieces, and I am absolutely stumped as to what to use for mine! We are having a backyard wedding themed after the Disney/Pixar movie Up. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we could do?

Balloons tied to cute gift boxes (different shapes and sizes)?

@HueysLuda: That would be so cute! Maybe even balloons tied to a variety of miniature houses!

@sit1010: Miniture houses would be even better. Def. ties into the theme 😉

I agree Balloons tied to little houses!!! 🙂

I like the houses idea! I think the balloons might seem too birthday party-ish if not done correctly ! Maybe some red balls? Mini houses are good.. if you could find a centerpiece that has maybe a mini hot air balloon would be great!

I think ,done correctly, you can avoid the birthday party look.

Here’s a kit to use air filled balloons: http://www.weddingflowersandmore.com/balloon-hotair.html

balloons, balloons, and more balloons…. and boyscount trinkets/scarfs/patches/etc…
i guess that is like 4 words hehe
Also did you search etsy, they have an “adventure book” guest book. I wish I had the link offhand but I don’t.
EDIT: dont forget airplain goggles, hats, etc… (if you are having a photobooth)
Would also use picture frames of older couples, perhaps that you know, your Fiance knows, and even some from the movie. I am sure you can DL pics and put them in frames, just a thought.
i love that movie… SIGH…
