We have having a winter wonderland wedding theme and I really wanted to use branches but our venue has low ceilings. So I came across this picture and I really love the idea. I just can’t seem to figure out the best way to do it. It’s the third picture down, roses in low square vase with branches.
Does anyone know how to execute this? How are the flowers there without seeing he stems in the bottom? How are they attached I guess is a good way to put it?

it looks kinda like they are pomanders, as if all the flowers are attached to a styrofoam center that sits on top and the branch runs through it. I dont think it would be a problem to have the flower stems though, I kinda like seeing pretty filler , water, and stems in the vases.

The roses are inserted into floral foam that has been soaked in water. When the flowers are all inserted , the ball is set on top of the square vase.

I would get a styrofoam ball and put the sticks through first. Then get some sort of spray to mimic the ice/snow on the branches. After that I would start adding flowers to the styrofoam ball around the stems. With fall coming up I’m sure you could find some nice natural stems to use if you go for a nice afternoon walk.

You can also buy crystals by the bag at Michael’s etc . Slather the branches with craft glue that dries clear and roll or dip them in the crystyals.
