I’d glue some type of tack to the candlestick and then push the pomander’s foam core down onto it.

I was thinking of making similar centerpieces.  Do you mind sharing where you bought your candlesticks and how much they cost?  Thanks!

@Katnisseverdeen:  This is what I was going to suggest.

OP, I would suggest waiting until you get there to attach the pomanders to the candlesticks, if possible. It will make them easier to transport, and will avoid things like breaking off pieces of the styrofoam or them falling over in the vehicle and getting sqished.

They make things that hold flowers in arrangements.  I think they’re called frogs?  You could tape the frog to the candlestick and then stick the pomander in the frog.  I’d use heavy duty tape like duct tape though.

They look like this:

I would contact cement a nail to the candlestick holder an attach the pomander at the site.

@clwkerric:  Oops, sorry didn’t realize your wedding already happened!  What did you end up doing?

I love what you did! What type of flowers did you end up using? Did you use this centerpiece for each table or did you alternate with something else?
