@snoozebox1220:  Very cute and I LOVE the flowers made out of sheet music and even more so that its your song! I, personally, like the little white flowers on the record. I dont think you can go wrong either way, wheather you choose more votives or the white flowers, it will look fab! 🙂

I would leave out the submerged flower in the vase. I love the paper flower made with “your” song and think it should be the focus.

You could write the words from one of your favorite lines from your song, in a circle around the edge of the label. If you don’t like the color of the label you could use a circle of cardstock or a doily to cover the label.

If you use the little white flowers, I would use more of them and use then in clusters rather than spacing them out so formally. Have you thought about doing more music flowers, or even one larger one, leaning up against the base of the vase?

I was going to suggest the same thing as julies1949 — making more of the music flowers. They’re really cute and it would be more on theme than the little white flowers.

I think they’re great! I love the record as the base. I also agree that I would make more little paper flowers out of sheet music to scatter rather than the silk flowers you’ve got.

i don’t know if i’m a fan of the vase, tbh.

i do like the idea of the record, though. maybe create more sheet music flowers kind of like this? (top right)

because i think the idea is awesome, but the vase and the voties are of a similar shape so you need something to ‘off balance’ it, as too much balance creates ‘bland’ if you get me?

more shapes and textures i think will make it a bit more interesting. the false flowers look as thought they’ve just been placed as filler instead of looking as though they belong there.

and 3 votives instead of 2. odd numbers are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye Smile

oooh and remember it needs to look the same from every angle! otherwise some people will get a full view of the flower, and others won’t see it at all!
