    i love it…

i think carving it on both sides would be a good idea… that way everyone can see how pretty and how personalized it is…

i think you should stick with this

It’s pretty but just too symmetrical for my taste.Centerpieces don’t need to have each item matched one for one on each side.

I think it would look better with the pomander at the wider end of the slab and the initials towards the other end. (more like your original idea)

I think you have a great start… Just a few tweaks… I think the pommander should be a bit bigger, and I would use 3 candles and pine cones in stead of just 2, and do 2 or 3 initials in the slab… Arrangements look better in odd numbers (my florist told me this and showed me different examples, she’s right!)

It’s so pretty!!  I love the idea of initals on both sides.

omg, I love it! I have  been trying to figure out how to incorporate the pine cones into my own centerpieces in a simple but elegant way and am already planning to do the pomanders on top of a candelbra/candleholder like that so thank you so much for the inspiration. I love the tree round you have them sitting on. So classy yet rustic and different. And the added heart like your initials are carved is so cute. Can you maybe actually carve it in? That would be so nice.

@cgraceh:  Thank you! I had a previous idea with upside down wine glasses with the pinecones inside the glass & it looked really good! I went with this instead because I loved the pomander ball sitting on top of the candle holder…you should try the upside down wineglass with pinecones..you might find an idea with that, that you like! I do have a wood burning pen that I am using for the initials…I think it looks better burned into the wood than just carving them!

I love the design & that center vase thing looks amazing!  The only suggestion I might have is a pop of color, unless you are doing an all-white wedding.
