Wow! I wish I could have planned a wedding in 2 weeks, and get married a month after an engagement. I’m impressed that you were able to do that.

What about baseball shaped cookies for favors? I’m no help about centerpieces. The only things I can think of would maybe be gloves filled with flowers and maybe a ballball with candles.

Favors could be caramel corn or Cracker Jacks. I am a fan of edible favors, plus that should be pretty quick and easy to do.

You could use old school players as the table names, and out pictures. Instead of going with an obvious baseball theme, you can use blue and white flowers, pinstriped table runners. You could also use red and white flowers. Maybe go with a white runner with red baseball stitching, like the newer logo. Or you can combine both ideas (pinstripes and the baseball stitching).

I’m originally from norhtern NJ, though I’ve always been a Mets fan, myself πŸ˜‰ But the pinstripes and the old hall of fame players have always been the most iconic images of the Yankees for me.

I think the cookies are a great idea for a favor. I’m going to think more about the favors and centerpieces (my SO plays professional baseball so we are obviously fans). I wanted to show you this cake topper we love πŸ™‚

Not a centerpiece or favor, but I got really cute Orioles garters from Lets Dance Garters and they have Yankees ones as well:

Also, in lieu of a guest book we got a custom made O’s jersey (about $80) and will have all of our guests sign it.

We are doing cracker jacks as part of our favors as well.

My Pinterest board has some other cute baseball ideas if you want to take a look πŸ™‚

You are awesome. Lol seriously everything sounds great! I think the baseball cookies would be better than cracker jacks personally but I guess I like cookies a lot more. I think they would look more thoughtful(?). And it would serve two purposes like you said.

I sure hope you’re doing a Yankess-ish garter! πŸ™‚ haha

Here are some ideas I found from doing some searching online… Hope they help!

Cake

A Yankees that I feel like looks SO classy! You could simply remove the Yankees logo from the bottom so that it doesn’t compete with your monogram πŸ™‚

A cupcake tower – Super easy to customize with blue cupcake liners and just Yankees symbols on top

Another way to do cupcakes

Favors

Baseball Cookies (Obviously, just use the Yankees ones πŸ™‚ lol) (The site where I got these pics has instructions on how to decorate a baseball cookie… Sounds like the baker has perfected her technique)

Another option – Jersey cookies… These look super cute, but may be more difficult to DIY

A non-edible favor option… An ornament! You could easily DIY for these with clay that you bake in your oven

A cute tag for cracker jack favors

These favors used those tags – Beer mugs filled with peanuts and cracker jacks… Cute idea, but certainly more expensive than cookies! Could definitely do it without the mugs though

Centerpieces

Baseballs in a large vase – Elegant and fun πŸ™‚ I like the bats and confetti too!

Baseballs set in a low bowl with moss in it πŸ™‚

Yankees in a tall cylinder, with flowers on top – Just color coordinate the flowers with your wedding πŸ™‚

A Yankees glass? maybe – I’m not sure what it is. With a blue light in it and a small flower bunch on top πŸ™‚  I don’t love the execution in these pictures, but the concept is good πŸ™‚  I think this idea could also be done with a floating candle on top, instead of the flowers

I think it’s a “baseball rose” in the center?

And baseballs in the vase – definitely not a necessity with all that’s going on here, but a cute touch πŸ™‚

Another centerpiece option… This is totally non-floral… Very tastefully done! I like it

Another option – I like it, but it’s hard to see… Baseballs in a tall vase, with an oversized baseball on top

Ok, I really like this one too – Yankees through the years… The years could also coordinate with table numbers… This idea could also be executed in a variety of ways – Doing the years, without doing these exact centerpieces

Cute table numbers

Random Basebally Wedding Things

Ring shot

Baseball bout

Place cards

Seating Chart “line up” (This was obviously a phillies and Yankees wedding – Could be done with just one team though)

Cufflinks – They’d be a cute gift for your Fiance πŸ™‚

“Guest book” — I know you said no jersey… I also have seen pics of bats/balls being signed

I am also thinking about a baseball theme type wedding, but mine is more complicated becasue I am a Red Sox fan (sorry you probably don’t want my comments now – haha), but my fiance is a Yankees fan!  For center pieces if you wanted to do something simple but keep the yankee colors you could do a bud vase that is blue and then have white flowers in it – you could even do some really simply white flowers and then a lot of baby’s breathe, which is cost effective. I am not sure where you live, but some supermarkets have florist that can do that sort of center piece for like $12 per design.   If you don’t think that’s enough you could add tehcandle from the venue and then just sprinkle some confetti around it.  I have also been to a wedding that only had the table number as the center piece and no one even noticed there were no flowers!

For favors we were thinking of having base ball place card holders.  Our place cards will probably look like red sox v yankees tickets.
