@Stellar Magnitude: Honestly, unless you really want to include them, just having one little light thing on the tables, I’m not sure how one one use them.  What are some other details of your wedding? Colors, “theme” any ideas you have already? I think having some basis would help.

Maybe something like this, where there’s more of a collection feel to the centerpiece, and it can be just one element of it?

Otherwise, maybe you could do a shallow, flat vase and stick the candle-thingie in the middle?

This is kind of like the one jo.lee put but with some color. Use the oil lamp thing they have instead of candles?

Maybe you could do a smaller version of this from my BIL’s wedding…

Maybe do something like these pics? Use kinda mismatched stuff so that the little votives fit in…

like with this photo you could put the votive on the books

and this picture has cute centerpieces too… you could just replace the mason jars in the pic with the votives you have or mix mason jars with battery operated tea lights and the votives your venue has..

@Stellar Magnitude: Oh yeah sorry! My sister (best friend/MOH) is a teacher and she would only be able to have the weekend off in October for the wedding and my wedding is on a Friday. So we moved the wedding up to March 16 because that is Spring Break here in Utah. So now she can have the whole week off to come down to New Orleans and party! (and help me with the wedding of course lol). So yeah I really wanted October but I wanted my sister there A LOT more 🙂

Oh and I definitely will be keeping up with your blog!! Your post about New Orleans Finest Musicians helped me out a ton! I think I will be contacting them for ceremony music. I have been hoping to start my own blog but I have been so busy!! Although now I really want to again!

The vases that are green on the inside have large tropical leaves wrapped around the inside of the vase. Then the floral foam is placed in the vase.

The leaves can also be wrapped around the block of foam then inserted into the vase.

I would use their cut glass candles as one element of a tablescape, especially effective if they have enough to use 3 per table. If not, look for other cut glass pieces to complement.

or you could do a wreath shape arrangement and have the candle in the center
