My plan has slowly evolved in the month that I have had to plan for an early June wedding…but I knew exactly what I wanted for vases – they arrived and are perfect! I love them! I was even pretty sure I would have red mokara orchids submerged in them. I am doing bulk floral from Sam’s Club at my forists suggestion – she will be prepping them for me at $10 a bucket and I’m saving a ton! But then I started looking around on here and seeing that putting the same thing on every table might be boring….so I started looking at other Sam’s Club options (it is somewhat limited) and on and on……until now I decided I really don’t even like the look of the mokaras!! I am looking at the white dendrobiums…but then my tables will have very very little red! Arggg…..I need help!!
The tables are rectangular – black tablecothes, black on white damask tablerunners, red napkins.
Here’s the center vase (NOT my flowers, just wanted to try something) there will be a submerged LED, clear stones to cover it, and a floating candle on top. 19.5″ tall, 3″ opening and base
Also on each table there will be two of these….

If I could say one thing to you it would be- “Don’t second guess your decisions based on what you see elsewhere”. Many, many events, including weddings, have the same centerpiece on all the tables. There is nothing boring about it.
I think your red mokara orchids will be stunning. You do want to bring in some red other than with your napkins.
This tablescape for a rectangular table uses small red and white arrangements and candles to supplement the main centerpiece.

Don’t stress. Having all the same centerpieces is not a problem. If you truly don’t like your plan now then it’s okay to figure something else out, but don’t feel like you need to change because you’ve seen different things that other people do. And I think the submerged flowers look really pretty.

if you are submerging white why not use some silk red petals around the mirror??? or on the table?

Thank you all! I have found some GREAT ideas on here that I absolutely love….and sometimes things that make me stress out a bit!! Thanks for the reassurances! I am still thinking things through…but I think I am more comfortable again with the idea of all the same centerpieces, as I was before I looked at too many wedding websites! Thank you! And any further feedback always welcome….
