    The taller the centerpiece, the more disconnected it is with the table and your guests. I would stick with the centerpiece you had planned and STOP looking at pics and second-guessing yourself.

    Your  submerged orchid centerpieces will be beautiful.

    @French Manicure: I loved all your floral choices, it will be beautiful but if you are detailed oriented and it will provide ease of mind than go for it.  Or better yet, take one of the already done centerpieces and see what it would look like before you make a big decision or if finances are not an issue Go for it Girl, you deserve to be happy and not what if I

    I personally like your original idea. Stop looking at pics and thinking of other thins to do. I think your original idea with your venue will be gorgeous!!!

    I would stick with your original idea. I think it will look beautiful with the tall candleholders and votives around it.

    I love the submerged centerpieces.  I personally don’t care for the super tall centerpieces.  It’s awkward to talk to people around them.  Don’t stress yourself out last minute when you don’t have to!  You made a lovely original choice!
