So pretty! I would spray paint the votives, I think it will add just the right amount of gold to your centerpiece 🙂 They look really great.

I say either spraypaint the votives or do gold candles. I like the grapevine the way it is.

I would add gold to the votives and the center vase with the flower. Also intertwine something gold with grape vine. I think spraying it gold would be nice too, but you need some brown in the vines to give it balance.

Your color scheme and centerpiece mockup are beautiful. I really hope you’ll post pictures in September. However, you don’t want the gold to look tacky, or anything other than luxurious. So for the centerpieces, since you already have gold chargers, I would do a slight accent, as opposed to a full on gold overload. The candles will flicker gold (I had a ton of candles at my wedding, and they heavily add a gold accent), so I would say either spray paint the vines, or do a few marbles or crystals in gold in the votive. You have great ideas.

I think adding something gold to the votives would be nice. I also like the idea of interwining something gold with the vine. I don’t think I would like the actual votives painted gold – I don’t think it would mesh with the rest of the centerpiece. But maybe you could also put a gold accent piece in the vase – like gold spray or something. That would tie it together. You could do that and add something to the votives.

Can I ask where you got your birch vases/candle holders? I was considering this look for my outdoor wedding. Thanks!

Can you spray paint the grapevines with a light gold shimmer?  Perhaps using adhesive spray and gold glitter/dust or a glitter spray?  That way you keep the brown grapevines, but still give it a touch of gold.  I’d also spraypaint the votives gold (skip the mercury glass and go DIY!).

Can I ask where you bought the grapevine?  I love that look!

This looks beautiful! The vine spray painted could look nice and give it a touch of gold.  Heads up that Micahael’s has gold mercury glass votives in 6 packs for about $8….or even cheaper with a coupon!  I have been collecting packs of silver mercury glass votives from Micheal’s for my centerpieces.

I love the gold branches! I think it is just the right amount of gold, and when the candles are lit, the light will bounce off the branches and look super elegant. Good job!
