@SoontobeMrsA: Thank you, my florist was awesome. She just totally understood what I wanted and went with it.

Good luck with the centerpiece search, I am sure whatever you decide on will be beautiful.

You can see our centerpieces on the tables on the right of this photo. 3 vases of various sizes, wrapped in vellum and a few ribbons. On one vase per table, we printed the table number, and then the other 2 had a variety of ribbons around them. Inside, we placed a candle. They burned through our entire reception. We also “sprinkled” Photofetti around each of the centerpieces- they were our engagement photos):

Here’s a photo of them lit up:

We also placed our menu cards around the vases. 2 menu cards per table (fronts had menu and general timeline, backs had the words to our first dance):

Another photo, when we set them up, before they were lit (you can see the table numbers here):

ETA: They were really cheap, because I borrowed all of the vases from a friend who used them previously in her own wedding. The vellum, for all 25 tables (75 vases) cost me $12 by purchasing in large sheets. Ribbon total was around $8- I bought whatever was cheap, as long as it was in the right colour- all diffent sizes. Candles I purchased at IKEA, I think they all cost me $22 and I had a number of them left over.

Ok, I never posted pics of our at home reception because it really wasn’t wedding-y, just more like a regular party :). We totally went for the cheesy Vegas theme and had poker chips and dice accents, but maybe it will give someone an idea and they can use normal things lol!

9 tables total

Dice- bought on ebay, 400 pieces from the same seller, came to $80 (crazy!)

Poker chips- ebay again, there were lots of 25 for $8, I think we bought 200 total chips

Vases from Target- $8 each

Clear vase filler (at the bottom of the vases), in canisters at Target, believe around $6 each, 4 or 5 total

Wire to glue the chips to for the flowers, cheap at Michael’s, the really heavy duty kind, $3 a pack

Candles- found at Michael’s- pack of 12 for $4!!! They lasted well past 6 hours too, bought 6 packs to be safe

I was going to do white carnations to be cheap, however, my father, who was throwing this party, didn’t like this idea, so he took all this to a florist and she put them together, and I’m sorry, I don’t even know what type of flowers they were, but most likely it was cheapish, maybe $10 a vase-full

Mirrors were at the venue and I bought the blue overlays cheap online for $5 each.

Table numbers made by me printed on photo paper, the venue had the stands.
