Wow, ours came to $10 each with 20 tables.

I have pics at home, I will post a one tonight.

Vase – dollar store

Black decorative stones – online

Candles – clearance at walmart

Bamboo – not purchased yet but this is factored into the price

Ours are going to be about $7 each for 24. We bought vases wholesale, some paint, and we’ll have floating candles that have yet to be bought.

Having flowers really jacks the price up. I was briefly considering it, but decided it wasn’t worth the cost.

Ours will be DIY and they will cost about $15 each for 27 tables. However, we got quotes from several florists and the exact same thing would have cost us $70-$80 each, even if we provided the vases.

Here’s the breakdown of the costs per centerpiece:

vase = $4

4 dozen red carnations per centerpiece = $10

floral foam = $0.50 (2 for $1 at dollar tree)

Wow – that’s a lot for centerpieces… in my opinion anyway.  Ours are just 12″ plates with shells and a candle in the middle – about a 6″ tall one, 3″ round.  We also got some yellow flowers from Michael’s that were on sale to put around also.  I think each one will be worth $8 and I’ll have 15-20 tables.

I am buying my own vases, and paying the florist for the arrangement and flowers totally to about $45 a centerpiece with tax for 10 centerpieces.  They will eb a smaller version of this:

This is my $10 Centerpiece; doing 3 styles! I’ll be doing about 5-7 depending on the final guest list!

Silk Calla Lilys $1/each, 4 per vase

Pine Cones Free in my Neighborhood (thinking about rolling them in silver glitter)

$5.99 for the 21″ vase

I just bought these Red Vases from a Local Dollar Store for $1.25 each. Bought 7.

Thinking Large Baby’s Breath Bundles on top, and putting LED tealights in the bottom of the vase with possibly a clear marble/gel ball filler.

Ours were about $12 per table – I got all of my vases off of kijiji, along with some of the candles. The other items I found at either the dollar store or with coupons from Michaels!

if you go with fresh flowers, it will be more expensive. orchids are extremely expensive. I am doing two different centerpieces. One will have some fresh flowers, but with flowers that are pretty inexpensive. I am hoping for mums, but not sure. I am also making tissue paper flowers and putting them into wreaths, then I will put a vase(got from the dollar store) filled with water inside the wreath. Then I will have a floating tea light on top of that. I am estimating that this will cost $5-7 per centerpiece.
