If you DIY, that obviously keeps the price down. $120 per table is pretty typical around my area for floral arrangements. The quotes we got were anywhere from 50-175. I don’t want a lot of flowers, so mine will be around $50 each (and candles are provided from the venue). If you want to hire a florist to do the centerpieces, definitely shop around. Otherwise, start perusing online pics/magazines to get ideas of things you could do yourself.

My Centerpieces are going to be $85 a table. For NYC that’s the “cheap” end of the spectrum when having the florist do them. I really wanted to DIY my centerpieces but I had to get realistic at some point and realize that I would go insane the morning of (ceremony is at noon)!

Bottom Line, find what you are comfortable spending, and then work with the florist to find something that you’re happy with. If you find something you love and it’s a little out of the price range, you can always see if you can move something around in the budget to accommodate. Good Luck!

Our florist, a friend of a friend, is charging:

* $55 for short vases

* $85 for tall lush centerpieces.
