got to agree with the wine bottle not looking too good – but love the pic you posted with the tower vase – so maybe before you pull you blue things apart, try putting them in a tall slim vase, if you like the feathers but not neccessarily wanted peacock feathers (if the werent in you theme already) try ostrich feathers to bulk it out abit?

i think the thing is the last pic you posted with the peacock feathers is that there not too many ‘busky’ bits (for want of a better word!) and the arrangement with the flowers make it look altogether dainty.

maybe some fluffy something in a different colour to cover up the stick of you blue things, and a single flower in another colour from your colour scheme which height sits in the middle of the blue thing? (sorry if that doesnt make sense!)

                  top of blue thing

                  flower

other fluffy stuff (short ostrich feathers?)

                   top of bottle/vase

(if that diagram makes a little more sense!)

Let us know how you get on, and totally understand that you want to use them if this is the one thing you Fiance has said, they dont ususally get much of a say!

I really dont care for the look at all… i love the ideas everyone threw around especially the one with the floating berries… but if you would like a candle look (since you cant have open flames), i would buy some cheap shaded candle holders or ive even seen the decorative tape used around glass candle holders and put the battery fake flames in them, yknow like fake tea lights that flicker like real ones. the shaded vases or what not will hide that the candles arent real
