I am trying to envision my centerpieces…and need some opinions on what I should do.
I have read in many places that half short/half tall centerpieces are a good idea (more cost effective, add dimension to the room, can be placed strategically-short on kids tables, etc.) and have definitely decided to go this route. I think it looks amazing!
We are having approx. 120 guests with 16 tables (8 guests per table + 1 sweetheart table). We are thinking 8 tall and 8 short. I already have 10 trumpet vases that are 24 inches tall and 5 inches wide from my FI’s older sister’s wedding that we would like to reuse for the 8 tall. The tall vases look like this:
I am curious to know if you think it matters what the short vases look like…square, mini-versions of the tall vase, etc. What have you seen done in the past?
We are having a friend who used to have a floral shop put together the centerpieces (white roses, yellow carnations, and blue/white hydrangeas) and I don’t want to purchase small vases that will end up looking strange with the tall ones we already have.
Am I overthinking this?! Haha. Any advice or reassurance would be much appreciated!
