I really like 1, but vote 2 only because once the table is set there may not be much room.

#2, and I agree with both comments above.  Cleaner, and doesn’t eat up so much space that might be needed for place settings and wine glasses

#2 – I agree with MrsRojoOso – I think it might make the table look cluttered. It will be so pretty at night with the candles lit!

I like the cleaner look of option # 2.

I like option #2 because once the table is set, you may not really notice the crystals on the table as much.  Plus the light from the candles will bounce more off of the crystals when they are that close.

#2 is very nice, but I actually prefer #1. It just looks so much more photogenic! :]
