Fiance and I can’t agree on centerpieces, so he’s putting it all in my hands. Here are two that I really like (we are using callas for our flowers btw). Which one do you guys like best?
This one would be in a larger, but shorter vase

Why not alternate them? I like them both a lot! Use both, place them on alternating tables!

@Miss Fish: Ahh, good idea!!

I agree, have half with one type and half with another. Too easy, it doesn’t have to be hard, just compromise and work together.

I think the calla lilies look a little chaotic with the grass- I would either lose the grass or maybe cluster them all together, going in the same direction. I feel like the vase in the second pic is too narrow alone, but would look good with candles or rose petals with it.

@zdb: she already said the second one would be in a larger , shorter vase.
I do agree with her though about the calla centerpiece-maybe simplify it just a tad.

Maybe something like this:

I think it would be pretty to alternate the bowls and the baby’s breath centerpieces, so you can get some height in there. But I agree with PP’s the calla lilles look strange with the grass.

Agree about the grass sentiment.
I think the styles are so different, though, I would somehow want the vases to universally tie them together.
That, or I would bundle the lillies letting them reach their full height in the same vase (maybe with a sprig of babies breath somewhere) as the babies breath and alternate.

Thanks ladies!! I’d definitely ditch the grass. It kind of reminds me of the fake grass in Easter baskets.
