I see your wedding is in the beginning of August.  What kind of feeling will your wedding have?  What general types of flowers do you like?

You could have your florist do a mixed color centerpiece of whatever flowers are in season where you live. This will also help keep costs down.

@sarahbeth61984:

Yes, exactly-what’s in season is what will be less money.  BTW-if you like the cube vases, I don’t know if they are big enough for you, but Dollar Tree has 3″ clear ones.  And you can actually order flowers through places like Sam’s Club, Costco, or Fiftyflowers.com for not a lot of money. Tulips would be out of season, but out of what you posted – you could get daisies and carnations pretty inexpensively I would think.  Roses and Hydrangeas could be more $.  If you go to Fiftyflowers.com you can look at flowers by season and flowers by color, to give you some ideas-even if you decide not to buy from them.  If you want to know what a nice idea is for after your wedding-I used to work in a Nursing Home, and the people that live in them really love flowers and appreciate them. 🙂

@sarahbeth61984: Some florists supply the vases-included in their price.

Or, you can find you own vases for the florist to use.

After the wedding, you could do what creativeplannertobee suggested and have a family member deliver them to a nursing or veterans home. Or, you could give them away to your guests. If this is going to happen, I prefer that a label or tag is placed under the chair or one of the dishes of the person at each table who gets the centerpiece. Some brides also have the DJ give out the centerpiece to the couple married the longest etc.
