There’s plenty of weddings I’ve seen with 3. As long as they’re cohesive in some way I’m sure they will look great!

I really like the idea! If I could have every table have a different design I would… but keep the same 2 or 3 flower types

You could do what I’m doing.. I’m creating a combination of three different centerpieces: 1. floral arrangements (50 bucks a pop at our florist) 2. hand potted plants of herbs 3. small lanterns for lights: http://www.koyalwholesale.com/pages-productinfo-product-14632/25_x_25_square_metal_candle_lanterns_bulk_6_lanterns_333_lantern.html

mixing and matching all three in the right colors would be a rustic way to create centerpieces. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve actually been considering having three centerpieces. In fact I brought three ideas to the florist, and two are similar to what you described. I like the idea of everything not being so uniform. Especially with such a big wedding like you’re having. I say “go for it!”
