My Fiance and I are leaning towards doing birch centerpieces. Just peel the birch bark off a tree and clue it around a vase and we are putting flowers in ours . If you Google this image there are tons of pictures of it. So pretty and rustic 🙂

I was just going to recommend birch bark vases too!  They have some already made on Save on Crafts, or just the bark.

I looked at purchasing them but my FI’s grandparents have a bunch of birch trees they want cut down and said if we do it we can have all the bark we want! Plus my Fiance has been asking to help out more with the wedding so I figure this is something I can have him do that is more up his alley 🙂

We are doing 3 different sized mason jars with river rocks at the bottom and floating candle for half of our tables.  These will be sitting on a birch slab and we are doing a bow on each size – one satin in the wedding color, one lace and one leather.  Here was our first attempt at setting them up.
