What do the chairs look like without the covers? With fabric on the walls, ceilings, and tables, fabric-covered chairs seem a bit much. It would be nice to have clean lines in all the draping. But, this is about the centerpieces. I think they’re very pretty.

I thought that may be the case. The covers def look better than metal folding chairs, so good choice.

I think it would look better if the table cloth was a white or ivory. The colored table cloth WITH the table runner is just too much, imo.

@Elizabeth_A:  I think replacing the daisies will help. There’s just something “off” for me, and I think it might be the orchids hanging down.. I feel like it might look better without them, but that’s just my personal taste. I don’t really like the drooping/falling/waterfalling flower look.

Re: the chairs – for my budget, it was only like $0.25 more/chair to just rent white wooden (padded) folding ‘garden chairs’ rather than rent covers/sashes for all of the banquet chairs. Worth checking out!! 🙂

@allyfally: +1, especially if the walls are going to be purple too.

Yes, I think they look very pretty. I do agree with the suggestion of swapping out the colored table cloths for white or ivory etc. I think the table runner is enough color.

It’s ALOT of purple. Very overwelming. What color is the ceiling/wall draping & lighting going to be? Anymore purple and it’s going to be an overload!

I agree with pps who say that the purple is a bit much. White table cloths will look better with the purple runners (at least I think)

You should do white table cloths. The colored linen is kind of overkill, IMO.

@Elizabeth_A:  Maybe leave the linens in purple and put a white/ivory or even silver runner instead? Then it’s not purple on purple.

Could you just do some soft purple uplighting for the walls instead of actually covering them in fabric?

I agree that the orchids aren’t worth the cost – could you maybe just rely on the hanging crystals to still give you that “dangling” look that you want?

Don’t feel bad for changing your mind! You deserve to get what you want! 🙂
