wathenwedding17 :  I wouldn’t worry about it. When you add a few candles, your centerpiece will be wider than 10″.  If you are having trouble visualizing the space, make yourself a circle of paper 72″ in diameter, put it on your floor, then set the “table” with your own dishes and cutlery. You will see that there is not as much empty space as you think.

If you wrap garland around the outside of the wood slice you lose the rustic look of the sides of the slice.

My tables are round Seats ten…

im doing this with lavendar roses and thistle in the garland and mercury glass votive holders for candlelight

stag :  yes my table also won’t have a plate set up look 

my venue agreed to do a custom Menu card and place the napkins that way

i am also doing a twig napkin ring with lavendar tied to it to dress it up more 

and a simple chabby chic frame with table number in the middle

My florist is doing them!

Her description on the break down sheet 

lay Italian ruscas, silver dollar and feather eucalyptus, lavendar caspia, thistle and lavendar roses 

and I’m buying the mercury class votive holders
