I really really like thly these centerpieces, infact they are the only ones i have found that i like that are on round reception tables. Thing is I am having a summer wedding… this looks very very fallish.
My ideas to make them more summer like.. instead of the wooden flowers add brightly coloured tissue flowers or fabric flowers. My wedding colours being Grey and Green with a touch of pink.
So do you think my idea will work?

what about the wood base? keep it or find something else?

I think the wood block could still have a summery feel — think moss-covered log in a forest clearing. Maybe the candles could be a mix of greens and the cream pictured, and then you could use another shade of green for the ribbon trim?

And maybe instead of brown string (or whatever that is) wrapping the candles, you could use something in your wedding colors.

I agree with the using of your wedding colors and using flowers. But it’s unique and gives a different touch.

Very neat idea! I don’t know if you are still working on this but there are sellers who do wood-based flowers on Etsy in a lot of different colors and their fairly inexpensive-
