Hi all, we are having a september wedding at a lake golf course , colors are black and white with sort of a rustic theme. I originally had my heart set on hydrangeas with willow branches but have been reading that they are very touchy and now I am not sure what to do! Any ideas?? Any feedback from people who used hydrangeas?

i dont think you will have a problem. hydrangeas just need lots of water, hence the name, its been done before by many brides, infact the last wedding i went to this summer did hydrangeas and willow brances and they lasted for almost 10 days.. do what you love, its a beautiful look. if my fsil hadnt done it this summer i would be doing it myself. instead im doing tall babys breath arrangements, and im equally happy about it

Our wedding was in summer and hydrangeas were our main flower on the tables, along with white roses.
The florist delivered them the morning of the wedding but even if she had done it earlier they would have been fine. My mum and Mother-In-Law took them home after the reception and said they were beautiful for about a week afterwards!
