Hey everyone I have two music questions
One, I don’t want to use the traditional bridal march for my walk down the aisle. Instead I want to use a version of a song my fiance actually wrote about me. It would be instrumental only, and he is planning to adapt the music for piano (it was originally written for guitar). I’m thinking the bridge is the part I want to use. The link is below so you can hear it 🙂 Also his church did have a rule about secular songs not being played during the ceremony… Do you think they might make an exception in this case? It’s not like I want to play My Heart Will Go On or something, lol.
My second question… All the weddings I’ve been to they’ve played Single Ladies by Beyonce for the bouquet toss… I find the song to be tacky though. Instead I’m thinking of using my favorite Elton John song, The Heart of Every Girl, linked below. What do you think? Do you have any alternate suggestions?
