We are getting married in a Catholic church on a Sunday. Are hoping to do the ceremony at 4PM and reception start at 5PM (the reception site is 10 mins drive, if that, down the road.). Cocktail hour would be 5-6PM.
Will not be a full mass (as I am not Catholic). Would this be cutting it too close, or does that sound about right?
Wedding will be 100-115 guests. 10 in the wedding party.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions!

How long is your ceremony?

When are you doing pictures? Have you talked to the priest about how long the ceremony is going to be?

I think it depends on how long you are gageing your ceremony to be. Mine is a close cut like that too, starting at 5:30 -30 minute ceremony with reception at 7:00, but we have finally given in to a first look so that we have enough time for pictures.
Don’t forget about pictures!

We have a call in to the priest…so hoping to have more info on that soon.
At this point, we have decided not to do a first look and will be doing pictures during the cocktail hour/post-ceremony. We had planned to do the pictures at the country club/golf course where our reception is being held.
I also just emailed the events director at the CC.
Now that we have less than 6 mos to go, all these details are occurring to me (better now than not at all, I suppose, right?).
