- Wedding: May 2013
I have a really weird question. I plan on having a friend officiate my outdoors wedding in May in Ohio. Due to the fact that Spring weather (any weather actually) in Ohio is unpredictable, there is a large chance that it could rain or be really cold on my wedding day. Would it be legal/possible for my officiant (who was ordained online) be able to perform the ceremony in my FMIL’s Non-denominational church? I would only do it if it looks like there’s going to be rain in the forecast, and I do plan on asking the pastor of the church if it is possible, I’d just like to get some reaction on if it is a weird request or not.
