Miss Plaid has a great post up right now about her DIY decor for her ceremony space (which is SO cute!), and it got me thinking about ceremony decor in general – what photographs well, what will look romantic, how to insert some of “me” into the space without taking away from the solemnity of the space… I would love to hear what you ladies are doing to make your ceremony space special, especially if it is a blank slate (we are getting married on a lawn, so it really is a blank slate – I always wanted to get married outside, but am a bit jealous of the ladies who are getting married in gorgeous churchs). So – post your ceremony site pictures, your inspiration, or any pictures from your wedding! All ideas are appreciated!

We got married in a gazebo outside and hung triangle flags around it. We also lined the aisle with mason jars standing on wood slices. The jars had either sand with a lavender votive or dried lavender bunches in them. (It was a rustic wedding.)

I got married in a blank squire room. To make it seem cozy, i added lots of cnadles, fake and real flowers and other random things.
Some old glass milk containers with green ribbon around it, mason jars with coloured paper wrapped around!! Its the small things!!

We built a bamboo arch (which was surprisingly easy and cheap, maybe $100). Then hung white curtains we already had from it and two nice orchids. We also had potted plants lining the aisle.
