- Wedding: December 2012
hello bees! I am faced with yet another dilema!!! I HATE arches (no offens to anybody that does, i just dont care for them) I get that the arch is symbolic…i think its symbolic right? im not sure…but if it is I see why, but I just dont want one at my wedding. I am getting married in a banquet hall. My reception space has a dividing wall, and I will have half of the room set up for a ceremony, but then after we will go out to the foyer area for cockatail hour and they will open the wall and tear down the ceremony set up and turn it into the reception seating. You following so far? I know its wordy. So since I am not getting married in a church, I will not have a beautiful backgound, but a backgound of wall and windows. I am getting married in December (3 MONTHS! AHHH!) and our wedding is in the evening around 4:30, so I am not saving the windows for natural light, as there will be hardly any at that time of day. I am having up-lighting for the ceremony, a blue type color, and I want to line the aisle with candles. My big concern is that the front will look too boring! If you could share your ideas that dont include arches that would be great!!!!
