We are getting married in a beautiful Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Here is a picture of the pews/altar.
The asile is super long (not sure how many pews exactly, will try to count them next time I am there). Our wedding will be over 400 guests but I dont expect all of them to be at the ceremony, maybe 200ish would come. I know 200 people make the church look fuller so I imagine if I did do pew accessories they would probably have to go the whole length of the church.
I am undecided if I need any sort of decor, perhaps just on the first few rows for family? or should I do every third pew because there are so many of them? I am thinking pomanders would be a good fit, but i also do not want to be hitting them or knocking them over as we walk down the asile (I will be walking with both my parents).
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

Ya I’m not really a fan of just decorating the pews at the front. It seems to always look unfinished. I would do every other or every thiird or just at the beginning and end of hte aisle.
You could do bows, pomanders, something sitting ont he ground – lanterns, rose petals..

I think your church looks GREAT even without any decor!
If you do decide to decorate, I would def do all the pews, not just the first few.
I think if you did a lovely asile runner, maybe some alter decorations and maybe some petals or even tulle down the pews, it’ll look fab!

So beautiful!!! Is this in Chicago?
We have a church wedding too, and we aren’t using much decor. We are using decoration on every other pew end, but that’s about it. We will also decorate the communion table.

I think every 2nd or 3rd pew would be good. I may attempt to make pomanders and scatter some flower petals beforehand, i’m undecided about the tulle as its pretty tight on the other ends of the pews to get everyone to their seats.
This church is in Yorkton, SK, its beautiful! It has a huge painted dome over the altar and absolutely beautiful!

I don’t think it really needs any decorations, but if you didn’t want to do pew decorations for the entire length, what about a fancy aisle runner and some altar arrangements at the front?

I agree with others if you do pew decor maybe every other row….I always think it looks a bit awkward when only the first few rows are done…JMO
Not sure what your budget it but this is quite lovely….to line the aisle
This looks like a fairly large church and they put the decor on every 3rd row

I dont think that you need any decor – but I’m with you, I think the pomander might be too big. The aisle looks really narrow and if youre walking with both of your parents in your bridal gown – it might be a tight fit!!! The church is beautiful as-is. If you do decide to do anything, go with something small and simple!

Sounds like simple and not too crazy is what I will go with, what exactly that is yet I am not sure! I really did not want to spend too terribly much. Maybe some tulle on the edges and then scatter some petals all over.
