I am having a vintage rustic mountain wedding. I am trying to come up with some ideas to decor for the outdoor ceremony site. The surroundings are beatiful, so I know I won’t need much. Also, I don’t want to do flowers to save money. Here is the site:
I am thinking just something to go on the chair closest to the aisle. Possibly a single burlap banner to hang onto the chair similar to this:
And also something to decorate the wooden arch thing. Maybe a small “I DO” banner like this:
Other ideas I had were traditional pinwheels attached to the chairs, or these kind:
Bees, any other ideas??

I know you don’t want to do flowers, but here is an idea using Baby’s breath.. super cheap.. This is what I’m doing and I am buying mine online from sams club. If you have a lot of rows you could do every other row to save even more.
I like the pinwheel idea too, I am also using pinwheels throughout my wedding and I almost went with making pinwheels to hang from chairs, but once I started making them I realized how time consuming they were and found the baby’s breath idea to be more appealing.

I am doing a vintage/rustic/country wedding and I have found lots of cool ideas from the internet. One of them I have actually created a thread about. Instead of pomander flower balls, you could use grapevine twig balls to hang from shephard hooks or even from the chairs in the aisle. They have a very rustic feel to them and they don’t contain flowers!

I got married in a garden and decided to skip the ceremony decor/ flower arch to save money. It looks like your venue is gorgeous so I think you could not do anything and it would look great. I found a couple of pictures of simple touches you could incorporate though.

Have you seen the pics from Mrs.CherryPie’s wedding – she had a rustic, mountain wedding that was so pretty! She used flowers, but could give some great inspiration too.
