so for the ceremony I know I want to decorate the hairs by hanging garland in our wedding colors kind of like this
But I may have a stupid question. How will the guests be seated if the garland is hanging? Do they have to go all the way around to the other side? I’ve been to other weddings where they just walked the guests down the main aisle because there wasnt any decor hanging but I also havent been to that many weddings either so I dont know how to works…

The guests will just be seated from the other side of the pew and have to scooch along the pew.

yea, they’ll need to be seated from the opposite side.
I once went to a wedding that did something similar and the newlyweds walked down the aisle with a pair of scissors and they cut the ribbon and did their receiving line row by row. Cute idea, but it was not fun to just stand there waiting for the couple to get to the end of the rows

They just come in from the other side. I’ve seen it done when there’s an aisle runner of flower petals and they didn’t want them to get messed up. It worked fine!

Normally you have ushers seat them from the outer side, this is how we done it and my wedding except it was on shepards hooks, i worried about it being a bother to the guests but at the end of the day its about what you want,
