I’ve decided to wear flats for the ceremony because
a) It’s on grass in a garden
b) My Fiance is only a few inches taller and I don’t want to surpass him
c) With a big train, and my clutzy tendancies I don’t want to risk tripping
So I’ve been keeping my eyes open for flats when ever I’m in a mall or somewhere that sells them cheap. (I’m a budget bride so I don’t want to spend more than $10 on the flats. I plan on splurging a bit more for the reception shoes as I’ll be in them all night, but for the ceremony? Cheap is fine!) I love Ardene’s and they’re having a massive end of the summer clearance sale. So I picked these guys up for $5. I saw them last week, and debated, hummed and hawed. And when I saw them still there, but almost gone, i decided hell, for $5, go for it!
What I love about them is the sparkle mesh and the flower beading detail. And the breathability. What I don’t love about them is the lack of a back, I’m worried I might slip out of them.
I love love love the sparkles! But do they look too cheap for ceremony shoes? I did a google search looking for something similar to this. A flat made of sparkle mesh but i didn’t find anything. Maybe because i don’t kow the right words for this kind of sparkle fabric? Any who, mrow?
