I’m not positive on the price but Freedom Park in Charlotte has a little island with a willow tree that’s pretty & was pretty resonable when we looked for wedding venues.

Your welcome! We loved it but we had a 300 person wedding so it wasn’t possible!

I would look into Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens too – They have a beautiful outside space and I know its reasonably priced (under 1000) but a bit further from uptown.

Holiday Inn uptown charlotte has a really beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the city – not sure what the cots is though.

I don’t know if you found a venue yet, but I would totally look into Carrigan Farms in Mooresville (worth the drive).  The venue is free if you allow them to cater (the steaks are to DIE for).  We are getting married there in April and the Quarry is BEAUTIFUL! Doug, the owner, is a really awesome guy and down to earth.  You won’t need many decorations bc of the outside beauty, and they really handle so many of the details (setup and tear down).  You should really go check it out.
