We’re getting married at Paradise Cove Fl and the ceremony includes music… either traditional wedding music or we can send something else for them to play. My fiance thought I was crazy when I said I wasn’t sure I wanted to go down the isle to that typical dum dum da dum bridal music. I was actually thinking more like Kelly Clarkson, From this moment….the first part. It’s an outdoor wedding on a lake with sand and palm trees… nothing is traditional, not even our vows so I thought maybe we should change up the music… Thoughts?

I don’t see anything wrong with changing the music. Some brides dream of the bridal march, some don’t. I’m firmly in the camp that doesn’t.
I don’t know what I’ll pick yet, but something more like me, absolutely.
Although, you should see if Fiance just thinks it’s weird, or if it was important to him. For some men, seeing their fiancee’s walk down the aisle and hearing that song is an important moment…it’s about weighing the importance to each of you.

I say whatever makes you happy. We are doing the Beach Boys, “God Only Knows.” It just has that free spirit vibe and it’s totally perfect for us as a couple. I know it’s not traditionsl, but it’s what WE want. So do what YOU want! Good luck!
