I’ve planned ours already, lol! I’m walking to “Moonligh Serenade” by Glenn Miller, and the bridal party is walking to “Perfidia” (also Glenn Miller). Haven’t figured out recessional yet, though.

not sure what the BMs are walking to. I’m walking to Here, There, and Everywhere (beatles). During the ceremony we’ll play Chasing Cars (snow patrol). Not sure about recessional.

I’m walking down to ‘Feels like Home’ by Chantal Kreviazuk and the wedding party will be walking down to ‘The Call’ by Regina Spektor. As for recessional, it is ‘Come Together’ by the Beatles.

I don’t know of any fun processional songs on top of my head. What genre of music do you like?

@Statutory Grape: I can’t believe it, I thought I was the only one!!! We didn’t have a bridal party but our moms walked to Moonlight Serenade. I even picked my string quartet specifically because that piece was on their repertoire. It’s both one of my and and my mom’s all time favorites.

I walked to Air on the G-String by Bach, the sand ceremony piece was Meditations from Thais, and the recessional was Mozart’s Turkish March (because I’m Turkish Tongue out)

@meliss: ALL RIGHT! 😀 That reminds me, I have to think of a piece for our sand ceremony. We’re doing all 40s/big band music.

I’m walking to Vitamin String Quartet’s version of “Sweet Child O Mine” by Guns N Roses. My party will be walking to “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey, also a version by VSQ! Then our recessional will be either “Can’t get enough of your love” by Bad Company or “Some Kind of Wonderful” by Grand Funk (actual songs!!)

So i take it most people don’t use the traditional wedding march song anymore?  I guess i need to pick some other songs, huh?

My Fiance is (kindof) German (not really, but his grandparents came here from Germany), so he wanted a ‘German Song’ for the recessional…I found one on an Oktoberfest album that we’ll be using.

My Bridesmaid or Best Man, Flower Girl, and I will all be walking in to James Galway’s version of Perhaps Love.

Fiance, and mothers will be seated to Ode to Joy (my grandmother’s favorite song)
